Team Fortress 2 "Wrangler Scout" Glitch

Dim lights Embed Embed this video on your site I noticed this while playing TF2 last night. Somehow a Scout "stole" the laser emitter from my Sentry while I was using the Wrangler. The light seems to be coming from his head. When I repaired the sentry and re-selected the wrangler, it was back to normal. It's not a glitch I'd like to see fixed, as it's a cool effect. ;-) Sadly, I have no real idea of how to reproduce this effect. Any ideas?
